Museum Internships

Museum and Farm Education Internships

: Available year round, schedules vary.

Internship description: This internship provides a primer on all facets of Museum Education! Our program includes opportunities to serve as a museum tour guide for our school fieldtrip programs at either the Museum or Farm depending upon the season. Interns will also work with the Ed staff to develop and deliver public programming, assist in volunteer training and management, and perform program evaluation.
Qualifications: A qualified applicant will have previous experience in education or related fields of study, meet the time requirements, be over the age of 18 and can submit to a city of Auburn background check. Must have a reliable mode of transportation to and from the site. The applicant must be equipped to work outdoors, in inclement weather and be able to lift  40 lbs. First right of refusal will be given to those currently enrolled in an education related field of study.
Compensation: Interns will receive hourly compensation of $10 per hour.
