Al Leslie Newspaper & Research Library
The museum’s Research Library is open and available to all museum visitors during regular museum hours (12:00 noon to 4:00 Wednesday through Sunday). The Library contains books, periodicals, maps, newspapers, and other documents pertaining to the history of the White River Valley region and its residents, spanning from the 1870s to today. Independent researchers are encouraged to make use of the resources the library has to offer.
Accessing the Collection
The museum’s archives and object collection are available for study online or by appointment.

To make an appointment to see the collection, please contact the Curator of Collections by email at email@example.com or by phone at 253-288-7438. Collections appointments require a minimum of two weeks advance scheduling.
Research & Copying Services
Museum research staff are available to assist with research projects on an hourly basis. Photocopies, scans, and/or digital images of items in the museum’s collection are also available. Research and copying service fees are $25 per hour. To order research or copying services, please fill out the Research & Copying Services Order Form and return it to the Museum via email, fax, or postal mail.
Research and copying services require a minimum of two weeks advance scheduling.
Photograph requests are subject to our Photograph Reproduction Policies. To order a copy of a photograph from the Museum’s collection, please fill out the Photograph Order Form, found here. (link to photo page)
