Open house at the Museum from 6:30-7:30pm. The Northwest’s own Martin Burwash will take us on a trip down memory lane with Burlington Northern’s smorgasbord of post-merger paint. Railroad author and photographer Burwash will review all the mismatched power and paint that was the early years of BN as St. Paul worked to integrate multiple railroads into the largest rail system in the United States in 1970. We’ll visit not only Tacoma, but wander out to Stevens and Stampede passes as well. $4 children and seniors, $5 adults.
