The White River Valley Museum and Mary Olson Farm are seeking new faces for our board. We are looking for individuals who care deeply about our mission of connecting the community to history and culture through engaging programming and responsible stewardship.
Now accepting applications. Must apply by January 31, 2026 to be considered for terms starting in early 2026.
The Basics:
Society Board is responsible for setting internal board policy, financial oversight, providing connections and building relationships with funders, individuals, corporations, and cultural groups of the region. But most of all they connect the museum to the community at large and are our biggest fans!
Terms of Service: Terms are three years with continuous service thereafter available by Board vote.
Board Meetings: Occur the third Tuesday of every month from 4 - 5:30PM at the White River Valley Museum. In person participation is strongly encouraged, but virtual options are available. The board typically meets 10 months out of the year.
