America 250 – Out of Many, One. Finding Washington’s unique histories.

The White River Valley Museum is participating in the statewide celebration of America’s 250th in partnership with the Washington State Historical Society. In 2026 the Museum will reflect on our valley’s shared histories asking:

What are the most pivotal events of our history?
Whose history has been told and who has been ignored? 
How do our natural lands and environment reflect our history?

The Museum wants to hear from you! Which artifacts from their collection best answer these questions? Complete your online ballot by November 30th! Three to five artifacts will be selected to display around Auburn in 2026, and one artifact will be chosen to represent our city on the State History Museum’s website.
