The Aesthetic Dress Movement was all about flowing, natural shapes and soft silhouettes. While its supporters were mainly interested in the fashion and romanticism of it, some feminists and dress reformers appreciated the style for the way it encouraged uncorseted looks and less ornamentation on dresses.
